It's been a pretty heavy News day, but did 45 really go on record throwing his own attorney general under the bus? I do not see how this guy gets upset when people question if he suffers a mental illness. One would think that there is no forethought in the things that he says.
Is there? Forethought? We have a president who contradicts himself almost daily. Am I the only one who wonders if he reads. I really think that he sits and reads past coverage on the election, and not the current stuff like the Senate health care bill or the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) numbers scoring it, which he criticized.
In the midst of the health care repeal bill, this guy is throwing his attorney general under the bus and basically threatening the special counsel by telling him not to go too far into his children's finances, look, I cannot even go there.
Why wouldn't Jeff Sessions recuse himself from the Russia probe? As much as I dislike Sessions, the man is there to do a job, he ain't going down for him. There are so many ways we can label the Trump Era; like Era of Mass Deception, Russiagate, Trump in Bed with Putin, but all of it is drenched in Quid-Pro-Quo (an unethical business practice). This dude 45 is all about giving and taking. He said, had Sessions recused himself prior to being appointed that he would not have given it to him.
I guess we can keep watching to see who'll get Trumped next.

#45 is on a Foreign Trip Dissing US.
Does 45 know he's our president? And, he cannot keep Obama out of his thoughts; it is a weird obsession. But, I'm not here to make the guy look bad he does a good job at that on his own.
He still does not believe that the Russians interfered or meddled in the 2016 elections. Well, he does, but not really, because it could be them along with individuals and other countries, totally undermining the US intelligence certainty that they did so.
45 raised a very good point though that makes it very hard to argue with the guy. He basically said, so you want me to listen to intelligence that said there were weapons of mass destruction during the Bush Administration in Iraq, but there were no weapons...I mean, no one can argue that point! Jim Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, thinks they've instituted barriers to avoid that sort of mistake, and 45 continues to use that mistake to undermine the effectiveness of the intelligence.
However, it is probably not a good idea to make the US intelligence look so fragile. It is a really bad strategy. I feel like 45 is still all about the art of the deal. I do not think that there is a move that he makes that is not calculated. They may not include much wisdom or knowledge but they are always calculated.
But what could his strategy be. I think the man simply idolizes the power of Vladimir Putin, President of Russia. I personally believe that 45 wants to silence the power of the democracy so that he can have the same sort of dictatorship as Putin.
When 45 went after the Americans that were struggling from lack of employment and was making promises of jobs and stabilizing the job market for their field of work I thought it was strange, but the politics game is all about strategy, so on the surface, it was politics.
When 45 was dissing the media and attempting to minimize its effectiveness after using the very tools of the media to become popular enough to run for office I thought it was strange, but the politics game is all about strategy, so on the surface, it was politics.
In 45's mind, I think he has an agenda to gain a similar power as Putin. Maybe, this is why he thinks that completely disregarding the US Constitution is fair. But, I also think the joke is on him. I believe he's up against intelligence that he would never be able to conquer or understand. Former President Barack Obama was criticized for not having a more firm backbone against Russia, not just when he found out about the meddling in the elections, but prior to as well. But there are some people that are not worth the battle, especially when you're more powerful than they are, President Obama, had this wisdom. Forty-five does not, for him it's all about power and control...and he's just not smart enough to realize he's being pimped in the process. He's not battling with them; he's in a strange agreement with them, not personally, but on their level of control their own people. Check out the special on CNN about Putin.
